In polyurethane processing, the defects that cost the most are the ones nobody catches until the end—delaminated panels, collapsed foam, scrapped parts that trace back to a feed line that drifted a few degrees upstream. This Heated Hose is engineered for polyurethane metering systems and laminating production lines, carrying polyol and isocyanate components at a ratio-stable temperature from the metering unit to the mixing head. Working as an electrically heated hose for temperature-controlled component transfer, it protects foam cell structure, laminate bond strength, and first-pass yield across continuous production operations.
Each component flows through a non-stick PTFE interior whose slick surface resists pre-cure buildup—keeping lines cleaner between runs and shortening changeovers when switching products. A uniform heating element wraps the full hose length, delivering ratio-stable temperature with no cool sections where viscosity could drift and tilt the mix, while the corrosion-resistant bore withstands the chemistry of both components over a long service life. The high-flexibility construction follows dispensing heads and moving machine parts without kinking, and the insulated cover keeps heat in through long production cycles.
