The connection between extruder and die must do three jobs at once: carry molten polymer, hold temperature through the joint, and absorb the vibration that would otherwise work the tooling loose. This Heated Hose is built for that role on plastic extruders and polymer melt transfer lines, replacing rigid links with a flexible, heat-holding connection. Working as an electrically heated hose for temperature-controlled melt transfer, it serves extrusion lines, scribing machines, and compounding equipment where joint flexibility and thermal uniformity decide product quality.
Polymer melt flows through a non-stick PTFE bore whose slick, corrosion-resistant interior neither adheres to the media nor lets degraded material linger between runs—supporting faster changeovers with lower contamination risk. A uniform heating element wraps the full hose length, delivering thermal stability with no cool sections at the joint where melt condition could drift, while a high-pressure-enduring reinforced body carries line pressure with margin. The flexible construction absorbs vibration that would otherwise transmit into dies and adapters, and the insulated cover keeps heat in and surface temperatures manageable beside the line.
