Polymer melt flows through a non-stick PTFE bore that neither adheres to the media nor lets degraded material linger—supporting faster changeovers and cleaner runs between colors or compounds. Around the tube, a corrugated pressure-bearing body carries line pressure with margin while flexing to absorb the vibration that would otherwise stress the die and tooling.
