Between the extruder barrel and the die, the connection works harder than almost any fitting on the line: it carries molten polymer, holds temperature through the joint, and absorbs vibration that would otherwise work the tooling loose. This Heated Hose is built for that role on plastic extruders and polymer melt transfer equipment, replacing rigid links with a flexible, heat-holding connection. Working as an electrically heated hose for temperature-controlled melt transfer, it serves extrusion lines, scribing machines, and compounding systems where joint flexibility and thermal uniformity decide product quality.
Polymer melt flows through a non-stick PTFE bore whose slick, corrosion-resistant interior neither adheres to the media nor lets degraded material linger between runs—supporting faster changeovers with lower contamination risk. A uniform heating element wraps the full hose length, delivering thermal stability with no cool sections at the joint where melt condition could drift, while a high-pressure-enduring reinforced body carries line pressure with margin. The flexible construction absorbs vibration that would otherwise transmit into dies and adapters, and the insulated cover keeps heat in and surface temperatures manageable beside the line.
