1. What is a Hot Melt Adhesive Hose

A hot melt adhesive hose, also known as a heated glue delivery hose or heating hose, is a special matching pipeline for hot melt adhesive machines. It connects the main body of the adhesive machine with the spray gun or coating head, and its core functions are high-temperature transportation and constant temperature insulation. It ensures that hot melt adhesive will not cool, carbonize or block during delivery, guaranteeing stable adhesive application.

2. Core Structure (Five-Layer Composite Design)

1. Inner Tube Layer (Core Component)

- Material: High-purity Teflon (PTFE) tube

- Function: Featuring high temperature resistance (-80℃~250℃), anti-adhesion, low friction and chemical corrosion resistance, it greatly reduces adhesive carbonization and blockage.

2. Heating Layer

- Material: Nickel-chromium alloy heating wire + K-type/PT100 temperature control wire

- Function: Evenly wound around the inner tube, achieving precise temperature control (120℃~230℃). The entire hose is heated uniformly, avoiding local overheating or cold spots.

3. Insulation Layer

- Material: Imported high-temperature resistant insulation cotton/flame-retardant foam layer

- Function: Provides efficient heat insulation and reduces heat loss, lowering energy consumption and keeping the surface temperature low to prevent scalding.

4. Reinforcement Layer

- Material: Stainless steel braid/fiber braid

- Function: Improves pressure resistance (3~10MPa) and tensile strength, with good bending resistance and aging resistance.

5. Outer Protective Layer

- Material: Wear-resistant and flame-retardant rubber/PU coating

- Function: Resists wear and oil stains, anti-aging, suitable for complex industrial environments.

3. Key Characteristics (Six Core Advantages)

1. Precise Constant Temperature (Adjustable 120℃~230℃)

Suitable for various hot melt adhesives such as EVA, PA, PES and PUR, with temperature fluctuation ≤±2℃, eliminating adhesive condensation or degradation.

2. Anti-Adhesion and Anti-Clogging (PTFE Inner Tube)

The inner wall is non-stick to adhesive and not easy to coke and carbonize, requiring frequent cleaning during long-term use and reducing downtime maintenance costs.

3. High Flexibility and Bending Resistance

The minimum bending radius is ≤20cm, adapting to the dynamic movement of equipment without cracking or wire breakage after repeated bending.

4. High-Pressure Delivery (Pressure Resistance 3~10MPa)

The reinforcement layer design meets industrial high-pressure adhesive delivery requirements, with no leakage and low risk of pipe bursting.

5. Safety and Durability (Flame Retardant + Insulation)

The heating layer has a high insulation grade, and the outer protective layer is flame-retardant, featuring leakage prevention, scalding prevention and aging resistance for a long service life.
