Introduction

Polyurethane processing requires more than simply moving material from one machine section to another.

The viscosity of polyurethane resin, adhesive or reactive components may change significantly when the material temperature varies. This directly affects pumping, metering, mixing and dispensing performance.

A heated PU transfer hose maintains material temperature between the supply system, metering pump, mixing unit and application equipment.

The product is suitable for single-component polyurethane machines, two-component PU systems, laminating equipment and other connecting devices.

The Relationship Between Temperature and PU Metering

Polyurethane equipment often depends on accurately controlled material quantities.

If temperature decreases inside the hose, the material may become more difficult to pump. As a result, the system can experience:
