A TPU-jacketed PTFE braided hose combines the chemical resistance of a smooth PTFE inner tube, the pressure performance of 304 stainless steel braid and the external protection of a smooth polyurethane jacket.
The JCC-61100-PTFE series is designed for applications where an exposed stainless steel braid may be vulnerable to abrasion, contamination or contact with surrounding equipment.
The smooth outer jacket provides a cleaner surface and can be customized in black, red, blue or other colors. The hose is suitable for pharmaceutical equipment, food and beverage systems, cosmetics production, paint and adhesive transfer, corrosive chemical conveying and high-temperature hydraulic or pneumatic applications.
The hose contains three main functional layers:
Smooth PTFE inner tube
Provides chemical resistance and stable fluid flow.
304 stainless steel braided reinforcement
Improves working pressure, burst resistance and hose stability.
Smooth TPU/PU outer jacket
Protects the stainless steel braid against wear, contamination and external contact.
The final jacket material, hardness and color can be selected according to the application.
An exposed stainless steel braid may:
Collect dust or process residue
Scratch nearby machine components
Suffer from external abrasion
Trap contamination in hygiene-sensitive environments
Be difficult to color-code
Damage painted equipment surfaces
A TPU or PU jacket provides a smooth protective barrier over the braid.
The internal PTFE surface provides low friction and resistance to many fuels, gases, acids, alkalis and organic solvents.
The braided layer controls tube expansion and improves pressure performance.
The outer jacket helps protect the stainless steel reinforcement from wear and contamination.

The catalog temperature range is -70°C to +260°C.
The actual allowable outer-jacket temperature must be confirmed according to the selected jacket material and application.
