Not every pressure application requires multiple reinforcement layers.
For many industrial fluid systems, the design priority is to achieve sufficient pressure resistance without adding unnecessary hose diameter, weight or stiffness.
The JCC-01100-PTFE single-braid hose uses a smooth PTFE inner tube covered by one layer of high-strength 304 stainless steel braided wire.
This construction provides a practical balance between chemical resistance, pressure reinforcement and flexible installation.
PTFE itself provides excellent chemical and temperature resistance but has limited pressure capability when used as an unreinforced tube.
Adding a stainless steel braid helps control PTFE expansion under internal pressure.
