A smooth bore PTFE hose is a flexible hose made from PTFE material through extrusion, high-temperature sintering, shaping and other manufacturing processes. The inner and outer surfaces are smooth, which helps reduce material residue, improve flow efficiency and make the hose easier to clean.
Because of PTFE’s excellent chemical stability, this hose is widely used in applications where the transferred medium may be corrosive, sensitive or high-purity.
For many industrial and high-purity transfer systems, hose material is critical. If the hose material is not chemically resistant, the medium may react with the inner wall, causing contamination, leakage, swelling or shorter service life.
