Solvent-free lamination depends on adhesive that arrives at the coating unit at the right temperature and viscosity. If the adhesive cools in the supply line, it thickens, the coat weight drifts and the line has to slow down or stop for cleaning. JINGCHENG's Solvent-Free Laminator Hose is an electrically heated hose built for all kinds of solvent-free laminating machines. It is heat resistant up to 230°C, and many laminating machine brands in the industry have worked with us on it in long-term, stable cooperation.
The hose that carries adhesive on a solvent-free laminator affects both coating quality and line uptime:
Viscosity drift: solvent-free adhesives are thick, and their viscosity rises quickly as they cool
Uneven coat weight: a change in viscosity along the hose shows up as uneven adhesive transfer
Cold spots: an unheated section near a fitting can let adhesive build up and narrow the bore
Cleaning stops: thickened or partly cured adhesive in the line means extra downtime and wasted material
An electrically heated laminator hose holds the adhesive at a controlled temperature from the supply unit to the point of use.
The heating layer is made of uniformly braided heating elements around the inner hose. Heat is spread evenly over the inner wall, which keeps the temperature difference along the hose to a minimum, so the adhesive is neither overheated in one place nor cooled in another.
High-insulation-efficiency materials surround the heating layer and are selected with the hose surface temperature in mind. They keep heat in the adhesive, reduce energy use and help keep the outside of the hose at a safer temperature around the machine.
The laminator hose is listed in four compact catalog sizes, 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" ID, so the bore can be chosen to match the adhesive flow of each solvent-free laminating machine.
A temperature sensor (Type J or Type K thermocouple, Ni120, PT100 or PT1000) can be built into the hose, with supply voltage and connector wiring matched to the laminator's temperature controller.

200: working temperature in °C (200 = 200°C)
16: hose inner diameter in mm (16 = Φ16)
B: inner tube material (B = stainless steel corrugated tube; TB = PTFE hose with stainless steel braid; T = PTFE hose; X = special material)
3X220: working voltage (220 = 220 V; 3X220 = three-phase four-wire 220 V)
P2: temperature sensor (P2 = PT100 two-wire; P3 = PT100 three-wire; K = Type K thermocouple; J = Type J thermocouple; W = no sensor; T = special sensor)

The surrounding medium should not contain gases that corrode metal or damage insulation, or conductive media, and severe mold must not be present. For special environments, contact us for a customized hose.
Wire the hose according to its technical parameters and the pin table supplied with it.
Do not twist the hose sideways during or after installation; lateral twisting can cause leakage, flow loss, hose damage or fire.
Avoid sharp bends; bending the hose too tightly can damage it and cause short circuit, leakage or fire.
The hose should be operated only by authorized and trained personnel, ideally the same dedicated operators.
Unauthorized modification or adjustment of the hose voids the warranty.
