In polyurethane processing, the window between mixing and application is short—and a hose that lets temperature drift can start the cure reaction early, throwing off ratios and ruining foam structure. This Heated Hose is built for PU metering systems and foam production machinery, carrying polyol and isocyanate components at a stable temperature from the metering unit to the mixing head. Working as an electrically heated hose for temperature-controlled component transfer, it protects reaction timing across laminating lines, two-component platforms, and dispensing equipment.
Each component travels through its own PTFE inner tube, whose non-adhesive surface prevents early-curing PU from taking hold—so lines stay cleaner, flow stays truer, and purging between runs takes less time. Around the tubes, a uniform heating element delivers metering-grade temperature stability along the full hose length, eliminating the cool sections where viscosity could shift and upset the mix ratio. The flexible, reinforced body follows the movement of dispensing heads and robot arms, while the insulated cover retains heat and shields adjacent equipment.
