A hot oil or steam line is the worst place to find out that a hose was chosen on chemical resistance alone.
PTFE resists almost any medium. But chemical resistance does not tell you how a hose behaves when the line is pressurized, hot, and bent around equipment. An unreinforced PTFE hose can deform under that combination. When a hot, pressurized line fails, the cost is more than downtime: hot media is released where people work.
The JCC-20000-PTFE smooth inner, corrugated outer PTFE hose is designed for that service. Each layer has one job:
A smooth PTFE inner wall carries the medium.
A 304 stainless steel spiral spring holds the hose's shape under pressure.
A corrugated outer profile keeps the hose flexible enough to install around real equipment.
Most flexible PTFE hoses are corrugated all the way through, so the inner wall has ridges. That shape gives flexibility, but every ridge is a place where residue can settle.
The smooth inner, corrugated outer design separates the two functions:
Smooth inner wall. The medium only touches a smooth PTFE surface. The line flushes and drains more completely between batches or product changes.
Corrugated outer profile. Flexibility comes from the outside of the hose, not from the flow path.
The 304 stainless steel spring keeps the hose round when it is pressurized and when it bends. This is where the pressure capacity comes from. At 1/4", the hose has:
a working pressure of 396 psi (2.64 MPa)
a burst pressure of 1276 psi (8.8 MPa)
The spring also helps the hose keep its shape at the bend. The minimum bend radius is 19 mm at 1/4" and 5/16", and 75 mm at 1".
One hose covers hot oil, steam and hot air at the top of the range and cold service at the bottom.
Certifications: ISO 9001:2015, US FDA 21 CFR 177.1550, and SGS.
Seven standard sizes run from 1/4" to 1". Other specifications can be made to order.

Design to the working pressure column, never the burst column. Burst pressure is the point where the hose fails. Working pressure is where it should run.
Pressure capacity drops as size increases. Working pressure falls from 2.64 MPa at 1/4" to 1.2 MPa at 1". If you move up a size for more flow, check the pressure again.
Check the bend on the actual route. Compare your tightest bend with the mm column. The spring adds stiffness, so larger sizes need more room to turn.
The smooth inner, corrugated outer PTFE hose is built to transport:
highly corrosive chemicals
hot air
hot oil
steam
It is used in four industries:
Chemical industry: the medium touches only PTFE, while the spring carries the line pressure.
Food industry: for product, hot oil and steam transfer, with FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 documentation.
Cosmetics industry: the smooth inner wall drains cleanly, which helps when one line switches between formulations.
Pharmaceutical industry: for process lines that need a PTFE contact surface together with pressure and temperature capacity.
When a line is hot, pressurized and corrosive at the same time, the hose has to handle all three at once. The JCC-20000-PTFE covers each one with a separate part:
a smooth PTFE inner wall for the medium
a 304 spiral spring for pressure and shape
a corrugated outer profile for installation
It is rated from -65°C to 260°C.
