Introduction

An inner-smooth outer-corrugated PTFE braided hose combines a clean, smooth product-contact surface with the flexibility of an externally corrugated PTFE structure.

The JCC-21100-PTFE series uses a smooth PTFE inner wall and a corrugated PTFE outer wall, reinforced by one layer of high-strength 304 stainless steel braid.

This construction is designed to provide negative-pressure resistance, easy cleaning, a small bending radius and reliable chemical compatibility.

The hose is suitable for food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and chemical material-transfer equipment.

Why Use a Smooth-Bore Corrugated Structure?

A conventional smooth PTFE hose provides excellent internal flow but may require a relatively large bending radius.

A fully convoluted hose is highly flexible, but its corrugated material-contact surface may retain more product in certain processes.
