Introduction

Food materials may leave a storage tank or mixing vessel at the correct temperature but gradually cool as they move through a flexible connecting hose.

This temperature loss can affect viscosity, flow rate and filling accuracy, particularly when processing chocolate, syrup, edible oil, sauces, creams, fillings and other temperature-sensitive products.

A hygienic temperature-holding food transfer hose provides active heating and insulation between different sections of food-processing equipment.

Unlike an ordinary insulated hose, the heated assembly supplies controlled thermal energy along the transfer route, helping maintain more consistent material conditions before the product reaches a dosing valve, filling head or processing unit.

The Unheated Hose Can Become a Cold Section
