In polyurethane production, scrap rarely announces itself—it accumulates quietly every time a feed line lets component temperature drift and the mix ratio follows. This Heated Hose is engineered for polyurethane processing lines and metering equipment, carrying polyol and isocyanate components at a ratio-stable temperature from the metering unit to the mixing head. Working as an electrically heated hose for temperature-controlled component transfer, it protects foam cell structure, bond strength, and production yield across continuous laminating and dispensing operations.
Each component flows through a pre-cure resistant PTFE bore whose non-stick surface refuses to let early-curing polyurethane take hold—keeping lines cleaner between runs and shortening changeovers. A uniform heating element wraps the full hose length, delivering ratio-stable temperature with no cool sections where viscosity could drift and tilt the mix, while the corrosion-resistant interior withstands the chemistry of both components over a long service life. The high-flexibility construction follows dispensing heads and moving machine parts without kinking, and the insulated cover keeps heat in through long production cycles.
