Pharmaceutical, food and chemical transfer lines often need a hose that bends tightly around equipment while still resisting aggressive media and holding pressure. A smooth bore hose may kink or demand a large bend radius. JINGCHENG's Inner Spiral Convoluted Braided PTFE Hose (series JCC-11100-PTFE) solves this. In hygienic and chemical plants, routing space is limited and media are demanding. Typical problems with ordinary hoses include:
Large bend radius: smooth bore tubes cannot turn tightly without kinking
Pressure and vacuum limits: bare convoluted hose may not hold the required working pressure

A helical convoluted PTFE hose with stainless steel braid keeps PTFE purity and adds both flexibility and mechanical reinforcement.
The JCC-11100-PTFE hose has corrugated PTFE walls on both the inside and the outside, with a helical (spiral) convolution pattern, plus one layer of 304 stainless steel braid. The convolutions act like a flexible bellows for a very small bend radius. The braid raises working and burst pressure so the hose can serve pharmaceutical, food and chemical transfer. Ten catalog sizes cover 1/4" to 2" ID.

Bare convoluted hose is very flexible but limited in pressure. Adding a 304 stainless steel braid raises working and burst pressure for process transfer while keeping the small bend radius.
Smooth bore braided hose offers the cleanest bore and often higher pressure ratings, but needs a larger bend radius. Helical convoluted braided hose is the better choice when the route has tight bends or frequent flexing.
Rubber and PVC are easy to route but have narrow chemical and temperature limits. Helical convoluted braided PTFE hose combines tight bending with PTFE chemical resistance up to +200°C.
Pressure: keep the operating pressure within the working pressure for the selected size; larger sizes have lower ratings.
Bend radius: route the hose so that bends do not go below the minimum bend radius listed above.
Temperature: confirm that the process, including cleaning cycles, stays within -70°C to +200°C.

Do not twist the hose during installation; align the ends before tightening the fittings.
Respect the minimum bend radius and avoid sharp bends right next to the fittings.
Support long horizontal runs so the hose does not sag or rub against equipment.
Flush the hose between incompatible media and after each batch in hygienic service.
Inspect regularly for braid damage, deformation or leakage near the connections, and replace the hose if needed.
