Transferring corrosive chemicals, hot air, hot oil or steam puts heavy demands on a hose. The hose has to resist chemical attack and high temperature, stay flexible during installation, and keep its shape under pressure or suction without collapsing. JINGCHENG's PTFE Smooth Inner, Corrugated Outer Hose with Spring (series JCC-20000-PTFE) is built for this kind of service. It combines a smooth PTFE bore for clean flow, a corrugated outer profile for flexibility, and an embedded 304 stainless steel spiral spring for strength.
Standard rubber, PVC or silicone hoses are often pushed past their limits in these applications:
Corrosive chemicals degrade or swell the hose wall and shorten service life
Hot air, hot oil and steam soften ordinary materials, causing deformation and leaks
Suction or pressure changes can flatten an unreinforced hose and restrict flow
Rough or corrugated bores trap residue, which is unacceptable in food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical lines
A spring-reinforced PTFE hose with a smooth bore addresses all of these problems in one product.
Inner layer: smooth bore PTFE. The fluid contacts only a smooth, chemically inert PTFE surface. It flows freely, drains completely and is easy to clean.
Middle layer: 304 stainless steel spiral spring. The spring supports the wall, helps the hose resist kinking and collapse, and allows the hose to keep its round section in bends.
Outer profile: corrugated. The corrugated outside gives flexibility and a small bend radius compared with a plain smooth tube of the same size.
Temperature range: -65°C to +260°C
Working pressure: up to 2.64 MPa (396 psi) for the 1/4" size
Burst pressure: up to 8.8 MPa (1276 psi)

According to the catalog, this hose is used to transport highly corrosive chemicals, hot air, hot oil, steam and similar media. It suits the food, cosmetics, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Typical installations include:
Chemical industry: transfer and dosing of strong acids, alkalis, oxidizers and solvents
Hot air and hot oil systems: flexible connections on heating, drying and thermal oil equipment

Smooth bore, flexible body. The smooth inner wall gives low flow resistance and easy cleaning, while the corrugated outside keeps the hose flexible.
Spring reinforcement. The 304 stainless steel spiral helps the hose resist collapse under suction and keeps it from kinking in bends.
Higher pressure capability. Working pressures from 1.2 MPa to 2.64 MPa across the size range, much higher than a bare convoluted hose.
Excellent chemical resistance. PTFE is inert to almost all industrial chemicals and solvents.
High temperature service. Suitable from -65°C to +260°C, so one hose covers cold media, hot oil, hot air and steam.
Hygienic material. PTFE is non-stick and does not release plasticizers, which supports food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical production.

A plain smooth bore tube needs a large bend radius. For example, the 1" smooth tube needs about 600 mm. The spring reinforced convoluted hose keeps a smooth bore but bends down to 75 mm in the 1" size, which makes installation in compact equipment much easier.
A fully convoluted hose is very flexible, but its ridged bore is harder to clean and is rated for low pressure only. The smooth inner wall of this hose drains completely and cleans easily, and its spring reinforcement allows several times higher working pressure.
A braided hose is the right choice for high pressure systems with fittings. The spring reinforced hose is lighter and more flexible, and it is translucent so the flow can be checked. It is ideal for medium pressure transfer, suction and hot media lines where flexibility and cleanliness matter most.
Pressure: choose a size whose working pressure exceeds your maximum operating pressure, including pressure peaks.
Bend radius: check the available routing space against the minimum bend radius in the table.
Temperature: make sure the medium, including steam or cleaning cycles, stays within -65°C to +260°C.
Media: PTFE suits most chemicals. Share your media list for confirmation in critical applications.

Avoid twisting the hose; align both ends before tightening the fittings.
Do not bend the hose tighter than the minimum bend radius, especially near the fittings.
Insulate or guard hot lines (steam, hot oil, hot air) to protect operators.
Flush the line between incompatible media and after each batch in hygienic service.
Check the hose regularly for abrasion, deformation or leaks at the connections, and replace it when needed.
