Hydraulic and fluid-power circuits rarely carry just one type of medium. The same machine may move compressed gas, mineral or synthetic oil, water-glycol fluids and process chemicals, often at high pressure and changing temperature. Rubber hydraulic hose is limited by media compatibility and heat. JINGCHENG's Double-Layer PTFE Braided Hose (series JCC-01200-PTFE) solves this. A smooth PTFE inner tube is covered with two layers of high-strength 304 stainless steel braid, giving the pressure capacity of a hydraulic hose with the chemical resistance of PTFE from -70°C to +260°C.
In hydraulic and pneumatic transmission, the hose must hold pressure continuously while staying compatible with the medium. Common failure modes include:
Pressure overload: single-layer reinforcement may not leave enough safety margin for high-pressure hydraulic circuits
Media incompatibility: phosphate-ester fluids, fuels, solvents and chemicals swell or degrade rubber inner tubes
Heat ageing: hot hydraulic oil and process fluids harden and crack elastomers over time
Contamination: inner tube breakdown releases particles that damage valves, pumps and cylinders
A double-layer braided PTFE hose keeps the clean, inert bore of PTFE while two stainless steel braids provide the strength needed for hydraulic transmission.
The JCC-01200-PTFE hose has a smooth PTFE (Teflon) inner tube covered with two layers of high-strength 304 stainless steel wire braid as the reinforcement layer. The smooth bore gives low friction, stable flow and easy cleaning. The two braid layers share the pressure load, so the hose keeps a high working pressure and good resistance to expansion and pulsation. Eight catalog sizes cover 1/4" to 1-1/4" ID.

A single-layer braided PTFE hose is lighter and more compact. The second stainless steel braid of the double-layer hose adds pressure capacity and resistance to pulsation, which suits hydraulic transmission and other continuously pressurized circuits.
Rubber hydraulic hose is widely used, but its inner tube must be matched to the fluid and it ages with heat. PTFE is compatible with gas-based, oil-based and water-based fluids and most chemicals, and it stays stable up to +260°C.
Both are designed for demanding pressure service. The double-layer braided hose offers a wide size range from 1/4" to 1-1/4" with a smooth, flexible braid construction; a spiral wound hose uses steel wire winding under the braid. Choose the construction that matches your pressure, size and routing requirements.
Pressure: keep system pressure, including pressure peaks, within the working pressure for the selected size; larger sizes have lower ratings.
Bend radius: route the hose so that bends do not go below the minimum bend radius listed above.
Temperature: confirm that fluid and ambient temperatures stay within -70°C to +260°C.

Do not twist the hose during installation; align the ends before tightening the fittings.
Respect the minimum bend radius and avoid sharp bends right next to the fittings.
Leave some slack to allow for the small length change that occurs under pressure.
Keep the hose away from moving parts and sharp edges, or add protective sleeves.
Inspect regularly for braid damage, deformation or leakage near the connections, and replace the hose if needed.
