Food, cosmetics, chemical and pharmaceutical delivery lines need a hose that is easy to clean, resists vacuum and still bends around compact equipment. A fully convoluted bore can trap residue; a stiff smooth tube may kink. JINGCHENG's Smooth Bore Convoluted Braided PTFE Hose (series JCC-21100-PTFE) solves this. The JCC-21100-PTFE hose has a smooth PTFE inner wall, a corrugated PTFE outer wall and one layer of 304 stainless steel braid. The smooth bore supports high flow, low residue and easy cleaning. The outer convolutions improve bending. The braid reinforces the hose for pressure and vacuum-resistant service. Eight catalog sizes cover 1/4" to 1-1/4" ID.

Fully convoluted hose bends even more tightly but the corrugated bore can hold residue. Smooth bore convoluted hose is preferred when cleanability and vacuum performance matter as much as flexibility.
A plain smooth bore braided hose has the cleanest bore and often higher pressure ratings, but a larger bend radius. Choose the convoluted outer design when the installation needs tighter bends without giving up a smooth product contact surface.
Rubber and PVC are flexible but limited in chemistry and temperature. Smooth bore convoluted braided PTFE hose covers food, cosmetics, chemical and pharmaceutical media up to +260°C with better cleanability.
Pressure and vacuum: keep the operating pressure within the working pressure for the selected size; use the braided construction for suction service.
Bend radius: route the hose so that bends do not go below the minimum bend radius listed above.
Temperature: confirm that the process, including CIP or sterilizing cycles, stays within -70°C to +260°C.

Do not twist the hose during installation; align the ends before tightening the fittings.
Respect the minimum bend radius and avoid sharp bends right next to the fittings.
Support long horizontal runs so the hose does not sag or rub against equipment.
Flush the hose between incompatible media and after each batch in hygienic service.
Inspect regularly for braid damage, deformation or leakage near the connections, and replace the hose if needed.
