JINGCHENG PTFE Lined 304 Wire Braided Hose (series JCC-01100-PTFE) reinforces a smooth PTFE inner tube with one layer of high-strength 304 stainless steel wire braid, raising working pressure to as much as 42 MPa at 1/4" for machinery, aerospace, energy, electronic, automotive, medical and chemical equipment from -70°C to +260°C. This page shows what a single 304 stainless steel braid does to a smooth PTFE tube, how to read the pressure ratings of the JINGCHENG JCC-01100-PTFE series row by row, and what to check when you specify an assembly.
A bare PTFE tube is chemically excellent but mechanically limited: in our JCC-00000 smooth-wall range a 1/2" tube is rated at 0.93 MPa. Wrap the same kind of smooth PTFE tube in one layer of high-strength 304 stainless steel wire braid and the picture changes completely. The JINGCHENG JCC-01100-PTFE single-braid hose is rated at 23 MPa working pressure at 1/2", and at 42 MPa at 1/4". The braid carries the pressure load; the PTFE liner keeps the medium away from the metal and gives a smooth, non-stick bore.
Inner layer: smooth PTFE tube, inert to most chemicals and non-stick.
Outer reinforcement: one layer of high-strength 304 stainless steel wire braid.
Temperature range: -70°C to +260°C.
Standard range: 8 sizes from 5/32" (4 mm ID) to 1" (25.4 mm ID), with a finished braided OD from 7 mm to 31 mm.
The single-braid hose is intended for machinery, electronic and electrical appliances, automotive, medical, aerospace, chemical, computer, energy, military and communications applications, wherever a compact, flexible line has to carry fluid under high pressure.
Two points in the table are worth noting before you choose a size:
Ratings do not fall in a straight line. The 1/4" size has the highest rating (42 MPa), 5/16" is rated at 19 MPa, and 3/8" and 1/2" are both rated at 23 MPa. Always read the exact row for your size instead of interpolating.
Burst is about three times working pressure. Across the range the burst figure is roughly 3:1 to the working pressure, for example 82 / 27 MPa at 5/32" and 31 / 10 MPa at 1". Size the hose on working pressure, and keep pressure peaks from pumps or valves inside that limit.
Minimum bend radius grows with diameter, from 42 mm at 5/32" to 260 mm at 1".

Pick the ID to suit flow and fitting size; tolerance on ID, tube OD and braided OD is ±0.2 mm.
Check working pressure for that row against your maximum system pressure, including surges.
Allow the bend radius at the point where the hose leaves the fitting; a straight length behind the fitting reduces stress at the ferrule.
Avoid torsion: install the hose without twisting, and support long runs so the weight does not hang on the end fittings.
