In hygienic and chemical process plants, a transfer hose is judged by two surfaces: the bore that touches the product and the outer wall that touches operators, floors and machine frames. A bare 304 stainless steel braid gives a PTFE tube excellent pressure capacity, but its open weave can hold dust, product drips and cleaning residue, and it frays when it is dragged across equipment. JINGCHENG PU-Jacketed 304 Stainless Steel Braided PTFE Hose (series JCC-61100-PTFE) closes that gap. It pairs a smooth PTFE inner hose with a high-strength 304 stainless steel braided wire reinforcement and a smooth PU (polyurethane) outer jacket, so the hose stays clean, wear resistant and easy to wipe down while carrying pressurized media. The catalog temperature range is -70°C to +260°C, and the jacket can be supplied in black, red, blue or another customized color.
Exposed-braid and rubber process hoses cause recurring problems in clean and chemical areas:
Residue build-up: the braid weave traps product splashes, powder and detergents that are difficult to remove during cleaning
Abrasion and fraying: broken braid wires shorten hose life and can scratch polished equipment surfaces
Media attack: solvents, fuels, strong acids and strong alkalis swell or crack many elastomer hoses
Permeation and carry-over: porous hose walls absorb media and can transfer taste, odor or contamination between batches
The JCC-61100-PTFE construction answers each point: an inert, low-permeability PTFE bore, a 304 stainless steel braid for pressure, and a closed PU jacket that protects the braid from wear and contamination.
The fluid path is a smooth PTFE hose. PTFE is inert to almost all chemicals and solvents, has low permeability and a non-stick surface, so viscous media such as paint and adhesive release cleanly and the line flushes quickly between products.
High-strength 304 stainless steel braided wire carries the pressure load. On the 1/4" size the catalog rates the hose at 42 MPa working pressure and 126.9 MPa burst pressure; across the eight sizes burst pressure is roughly three times working pressure.
The smooth PU sheath forms a clean outer layer that shields the stainless steel wire reinforcement from wear and contamination. Color options (black, red, blue or custom) make it simple to code lines by medium, circuit or department.
Cleaner exterior and better wear resistance than an open-braid hose
Low permeability, chemically inert PTFE bore for nearly all chemicals and solvents
Pressure capacity from 10 MPa (1") up to 42 MPa (1/4"), depending on size
Catalog temperature range -70°C to +260°C
Eight standard sizes from 5/32" to 1" ID (4 mm to 25.6 mm)
Customizable jacket color and production to customer parameters
The catalog lists fuel, gas, strong acids, strong alkalis and various organic solvents as transmission media, and describes the hose as an ideal choice for:
Pharmaceutical processing: solvent, intermediate and product transfer between reactors, tanks and filling machines
Food and beverage lines: oils, syrups, flavorings, juices and concentrates where a clean, wipe-down hose exterior is required
Cosmetics production: creams, lotions, essences and fragrance bases that must not pick up taste or odor
Viscous media conveying: paint and adhesive supply lines that benefit from the non-stick PTFE bore
Corrosive chemical fluids: acid, alkali and solvent dosing and transfer systems
High-temperature hydraulic or pneumatic service: pressure lines on machinery and test equipment

Data source: JINGCHENG PTFE Hose Catalog (JCC-61100-PTFE Series). Catalog temperature range: -70°C to +260°C. Jacket colors black, red, blue or custom. All specifications can be customized according to customer parameters.
PU-jacketed vs. bare 304 braided PTFE hose (JCC-01100): both rely on a 304 stainless steel braid over a smooth PTFE hose for pressure. The JCC-61100 adds a closed, smooth PU jacket, which keeps the braid clean, protects surrounding equipment from scratches and makes color coding possible, which is why it is preferred in pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic and beverage areas.
PTFE vs. rubber or silicone process hose: elastomer hoses are flexible and economical, but fuels, solvents and aggressive chemicals can swell or degrade them, and their walls are more permeable. The PTFE bore stays inert, non-stick and low in permeability.
PU-jacketed braided hose vs. plain PTFE tube: a plain PTFE tube suits low-pressure transfer; once pump pressure, hydraulic or pneumatic duty is involved, the braided and jacketed JCC-61100 provides the needed pressure rating while keeping the outside clean.
Pressure by size: ratings differ strongly by diameter, from 42 MPa on 1/4" to 10 MPa on 1". Keep maximum system pressure, including pump pulsation, inside the working pressure of the chosen size.
Bend radius: route the hose at or above the minimum bend radius, from 50 mm on 5/32" up to 300 mm on 1", and leave a straight length behind each fitting.
Temperature profile: confirm media temperature, cleaning cycles and ambient conditions; for sustained high external temperatures, share your conditions so our engineers can confirm jacket and assembly design.
Media list: PTFE handles fuels, gases, strong acids, strong alkalis and most organic solvents; send your media list for confirmation in critical services.
Color coding and ends: choose jacket colors per circuit and specify end connections (thread, sanitary clamp, quick coupling or crimped fitting).
Align both ends before tightening so the braid is not twisted.
Avoid sharp bends at the fittings and protect the hose from crushing in walkways.
Do not cut or gouge the PU jacket; a damaged jacket exposes the braid to wear and contamination.
Flush between products and depressurize before disconnecting paint, adhesive or chemical lines.
Inspect the jacket and connections regularly and replace any hose showing kinks, cuts or leakage.
JINGCHENG produces PU-jacketed braided PTFE hose as bulk hose or as finished assemblies to customer drawings, with special diameters, jacket colors, cut lengths, end fittings and packaging for equipment builders, dispensing system integrators and distributors. Since 2005 the company has focused on PTFE hoses, PTFE high-pressure hoses and electrically heated hoses, so cold-transfer and heated lines can be sourced from one manufacturer. Send us your medium, pressure, temperature and connection details for a recommendation and quotation.
